Some of the many expeditions through the mathematical JASON project also led the secrets of each March, from the shore into the sea, and tropical forests to the junction. Each entry, mathematical concepts and skills to integrate with scientific themes. In addition, the mathematics curriculum includes activities such as geometry and Adventures Return to Titanic, and proportional reasoning and the disappearance of wetlands. These programs can be used stand-alone projects or class to a corresponding JASON expedition to be completed. Students will be introduced to real scientists and their work and have the opportunity to have similar activities in the classroom and outside.

Jason is determined to teachers exciting new ways of teaching mathematics based on standards. As students use our hands to the scientific approach to solving real problems, the activities demanded of key math skills and concepts to learn.

In search of online resources science education in the science education K-12 support? There are many sources on the Internet and it is difficult for the teachers time to find surfing the web looking for online resources. The best option is a one-stop resource for educators to visit K-12 science, “a directory of online resources for science teaching is designed. Not only a teacher can use a resource like this to use, it is also ideal for homeschooling parents, their children.

Inquiry Teaching and Learning

If you are looking for K-12 science lesson plans to support web resources and links to teaching and learning-based search request, you may have to search hard. Like other Web resources, it takes time to surf the Internet and find them. What we need is a directory of resources for scientific research classified topics, to support K-12 education in science and learning. What is for someone who is necessary for you.

Directory of resources valuable for educators K-12 science includes lesson plans, evaluation results, teaching guides, policies, standards, search engine for science, and are more. Also there is a need for online resources to support all areas of science content.

Science education through technology

There are several types of technology strategies for teaching K-12 science. These include the use of Web resources, online simulators, WebQuests, real-time databases, interactive online sites, and many more options. A site that offers a directory of a variety of Internet resources is very useful for K-12 educators.

This type of site would be used to support their learning strategies. Students actively in learning rather than passive learners. You can use the virtual tour students for places all over the world, zoos, volcanoes in other countries, and much more.

Additional Resources

More K-12 online teaching and learning resources for science teachers and parents access to journals, current news topics and scholarly books required online science teaching research. A specific resource that we need is a guide to recommended reading books, science support at all levels. Reading is more emphasized today the requirements of State and Education and an online resource to help educators fulfill save time, to books, to find and fulfill the content.

Because of the emphasis on standards and testing today, teachers do not want to create a website, going to waste their time. All resources must be screened to ensure they the guidelines for national standards of science “to the teaching of science through inquiry-based practices. Also, the IT resources meets on the website of the technology and national standards in science.

A directory, links updated, is especially important to allocate resources. Teachers and parents have to go to the science of directories that are full of tired of dead links. It wasted time and frustration is wasted as more valuable time.

What we need is a place of scientific education online resource that is designed specifically for K-12 science education and home schooling parents.

A digital microscope is the latest in the field of microscopy. This device is useful when the teacher wants to assess the performance of students. Capturing images has become easier and fast compared to other conventional methods such as hands-on experience. Performance standards are usually written in chalk in the education system. Sometimes it is difficult to justify and achieve well. Using a digital microscope helps to consolidate the existing performance standards for the school.

Digital microscopes as SmartScope offers one of the most effective methods to monitor the ability of a student to assess, study and record the various aspects of the sample considered, either biology, earth science, chemistry or environmental sciences. When Dr. Martin G. Horejsi proposes “the development instead of conventional laboratory notebook, students a wealth of authentic images can detail their journey into the world of micro-capture.” (Horejsi, M. (2007) A picture’s worth of words. Digital Imaging as an assessment process with powerful tools, Conference of the World Conference on Educational Multimedia ED-Media, Hypermedia and Telecommunications, Vancouver, Canada).

The digital microscope can be still images, to bear a much better way, the data from the classical design, which may not be very accurate statement recorded there. The digital microscope can be connected via the USB port and the images in an instant with a click of the mouse. The device is simple to use and can be easily manipulated, even by young students. Changes in the sample under observation can be specified, with a picture at the right time. This is an excellent way to document the static samples.

The images can then be presented with PowerPoint. Images can be magnified for closer viewing the different parts of the sample in the study, precisely and in detail. Students can also submit pictures to view a specific process under observation. For example, images can be used in a process such as chemical confirmatory tests at various stages, where the color or texture of the substance can be easily made at the right time and captured a series of images represented in slide show.

In the case of studies recording the behavior of a sample over time, offering the digital microscope to capture video and time-lapse videos. For example, a seed germination under investigation for easily using the SmartScope. The video may be taken for several hours, the result can be seen in a minute. This can be done at the limit of 180:1, this is a video over a period of 180 minutes in one minute to look over. Changes can be measured with a digital measuring microscope.

Once students completed the necessary data compiled with the help of pictures, videos, PowerPoint presentations or spreadsheets that can easily to a USB-CD, e-mail or posted online so that other view will be saved. This compilation can also be configured to check portfolios and assess student progress are. The use of digital microscopes as SmartScope make it easy for teachers and schools to make an accurate assessment, because it consumes less time and requires much less effort. This time can then be used with students to give them a better understanding of the concepts.
