United States Student Association Foundation

The United States Student Association Foundation ensures the pipeline of effective student leadership by facilitating education, training and other development opportunities at national, state, and local levels in advocating for issues that affect students.



The League of Young Voters Education Fund

The League of Young Voters Education Fund empowers young people nationwide to participate in the democratic process, with a focus on non-college youth from low-income communities and communities of color.



Young People For (a project of People For the American Way Foundation)

Young People For (YP4) is a strategic long-term leadership development program that identifies, engages and empowers the newest generation of young progressive leaders to create change in their communities today.



Choice USA

Choice USA mobilizes and provides ongoing support to the diverse, upcoming generation of leaders who promote and protect reproductive choice both now and in the future.



Center for Progressive Leadership: New Leaders

The Center for Progressive Leadership's New Leaders Program works to change the face of tomorrow’s political leadership by matching young people of color, GLBT youth, and women with paid opportunities in progressive organizations.



The Ruckus Society

The Ruckus Society provides environmental, human rights, and social justice organizers with the tools, training, and support needed to achieve their goals. Ruckus provides instruction on the application of tactical and strategic tools to a growing number of organizations and individuals from around the world in skill-shares and trainings that are designed to move campaigns forward.



Future 5000

Future 5000, an online initiative of the Generational Alliance is the largest online directory and networking site for progressive youth organizations in the country. Future 5000 was designed to strengthen our networks, maximize our resources and leverage community power.



Generation Change (a project of the Center for Community Change)

Generation Change recruits, trains and supports tomorrow's grassroots organizers and leaders to confront the challenges of poverty and injustice in the 21st century.



Campus Camp Wellstone (a project of Wellstone Action!)

Campus Camp Wellstone trains students nationwide on how to run energized, community building, winning campaigns.



Wiretap Magazine (a project of the Tides Center)

WireTap is a news and culture magazine by and for young people interested in social change. WireTap informs young audiences in their own voices, creates a space for reflection and discussion, attracts young readers alienated from politics, connects information to action, and inserts the perspective of young people into the crowded media landscape that often lacks the youth perspective.



Hip Hop Caucus

Hip Hop Caucus is a sustainable political organization that empowers the Hip Hop generation to participate in the policymaking process. It challenges the demonization of a generation and culture by creating a space for young people to speak up – to discuss and debate a new vision of a society and a government that works for all of us.



Black Youth Vote!

Black Youth Vote! strives to empower and engage young people, ages 18-35, to build our own political power through full civic participation in the political process. Through trainings in civic education, leadership and campaign development, we identify the issues that affect us and use various tactics to influence public policy. Our goal is to continue to build power in our communities and force politicians to make our issues their issues, with young Black leaders at the forefront of setting the agenda.



Planned Parenthood's Youth Initiatives Program

Planned Parenthood's Youth Initiatives Program works in more than 40 states across the country engaging, training, and mobilizing teens, college, and non-college young people on the healthcare issues that have special resonance for them like access to basic healthcare services and birth control, as well as real sex education in schools.



Youth Speaks

Youth Speaks empowers the next generation of leaders, self-defined artists, and visionary activists through written and oral literacies. They challenge youth to find, develop, publicly present, and apply their voices as creators of social change.



The Youth Voter Collective

The Youth Voter Collective is an organization of youth activists from across the country that mobilizes youth and college students to participate in the elections process, as well as garnering a united vision for a youth agenda in the post-election period.We are entirely run and governed by young women and men between the ages of 18 and 30. As reflective of the communities in which we organize, our members are of diverse ethnicities, the majority African-American or Latino.



The Hip Hop Congress

The Hip Hop Congress is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Corporation that provides the Hip Hop Generation and the Post-Hip Hop Generation with the tools, resources and opportunities to make social, economic and political change on a local, regional and national level. The Hip Hop Congress is the product of a merger of artists and students, music and community.



The Bus Federation

The Bus Federation is comprised of grassroots youth political organizations in five Western states, drawing upon proven models of youth organizing to activate young progressive voters, develop the next generation of progressive leaders, and mobilize for immediate term electoral impact – laying the foundations for local and national breakthroughs in the 2008 election cycle and beyond
